The Umbra Oh Chair was born out of frustration, since designer Karim Rashid was seated on a restaurant patio when his plastic chair broke, and the very next day, in his studio, he began sketching plastic chairs, and the Oh Chair was born. This durable and ultra-comfortable chair has a nice give to it, which means when you lean back in your seat, the chair will move with you. Chic inside the house or outside on your patio or porch, the chair's polypropylene material is long-lasting and easy to clean. Whether you're setting up extra dining seating, furnishing a patio, or simply want a chair that's both comfortable and genuinely good-looking, the Oh Chair delivers airy, curvy style with everyday durability.

This thoughtfully engineered chair is more than just a place to sit. The polypropylene can withstand the rain and has an ultraviolet stabilizer built into it, which means it won't become faded in the sunlight, while its nylon feet will prevent your floors from getting damaged indoors. It measures 23.82 by 24.41 by 34 inches, is made with recycled plastics, and holds a 250-pound weight capacity per chair. The Oh Chair easily stacks thanks to its strategically placed holes, making it genuinely practical for small storage spaces or seasonal patio setups. It's a recipient of the 1999 IDEA Award and is included in the MoMA SF, Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, proof that everyday seating can carry real design pedigree.
